Kiss and Tell

What do you know about kissing?
Not much but I’m almost certain it has something to do with the lips!
(from Fairy Tale Theater’s Cinderella)

Heath planted a big, juicy kiss on me.  The kind where he dips me dramatically at the end and it squeaks really loud.  We opened our eyes and finally released our embrace and there was Gwen looking up at us.  She had her head tipped back all the way with her lips pursed and she was saying, “My turn!”

Heath did what any doting father would do.  He made a big show of kissing her cheek.  Parker wanted a turn too so he got the same treatment.  Later Gwen pointed at Heath’s lips and said, “For Mommy only!”  Then she pointed at his cheek and said, “This is for girls.”  Yes, all the girls in the world are allowed to kiss Heath’s cheek.  At least according to Gwen.  At least I get the good part.  The lips.

That was a very cute scene, Tristan.

We're so lucky when we catch a glimpse of how our children see the world. It's adorable.

It is fun to see the world through a child's eyes. They're so innocent and literal. It makes for a very cute combination.
